Hooter is an old soul with main-character energy. He loves the ladies, enjoys short leash walks (because cardio is optional), and takes his backyard patrol job very seriously — loudly reminding all other dogs that he is, obviously, the best. He’s great with cats, fine with other dogs, and awesome with kids. Tiny babies make him a little unsure, but once kids are up and moving, he’s all about it. If you’re looking for a confident, funny, fence-walking legend with a heart of gold, Hooter’s your guy.

August 1st One of our advisory board members stepped up and called Seminole “I’m gonna go visit around 11 this morning!” Take some pictures and do an evaluation on Hoorah!!! Well that’s the beginning of Hoorah being welcomed into MRF (Mastiff Rescue of Florida). FYI nowadays owner surrenders and older age dogs are first to be Euthanized (space is critical in ALL the shelters)…..

 THANK YOU SKYLAR for your quick response, Hoorah was taken immediately to the vet and we did blood and got meds for his infections. Once his infections are all clear we will have him neutered.  

August 8th From Skylar (Temp Foster):

 Hoorah 🐾  (we call him Hooter because it’s funny and we like to have fun). Also at 7 days of antibiotics, he’s almost over the hacking, coughing, sneezing from kennel cough. He is opening up a little to us (not going to lie, us too emotionally) and not so heartbroken/sick. So far, he likes when I feed him not “dad” because “dad” does it wrong even though he makes it the exact same way. We’re dabbling with new healthy foods and walking around the yard. Going to work on the hot spots and getting supplements incorporated into his diet for his arthritis.  Have yet to see his tail wag or hear him bark. He just got invited to the couch to chill with the cool people and is LOVING every second of it. He likes to snuggle, be close and nudges us for head scratches. He’s walking and getting up a lot more, proud of Hooter, Hooty, Hooty Man he’s such a chill loving guy.
