MRF takes placing a dog very seriously!  

We are a team of volunteers dedicated to providing the English Mastiffs with a permanent home as most have already been failed once by humans. Communication is a must with MRF.

 1) Applications are received and you will get a response by email stating “we have received and we will begin processing “.

 2) Vet references are called (so please do not forget to list yours and if under a different name please specify)

 3) Addresses are checked : So if you Rent or live in a HOA Neighborhood we will need a letter or proof that English Mastiffs are allowed and there are no size restrictions (over 100lb dogs are allowed)

4)Home Evaluations are a must , we send a volunteer to your home and all that live in the home must be home at the time of this meeting. (Again this is done for the benefit of placement which we take very seriously)

 5) Once the home evaluations are complete the Volunteer sends all back to the board ( dedicated volunteers) to review and discuss. 

 6) Once Approved you will receive receive a EMAIL confirmation stating the next steps. 

7) We have specifically required by our insurance company online courses “Maddie’s University “ they will be sent to you for completion.

 8) MRF Private Facebook Group is the KEY to the Communication In working for the dogs ( because that is what we do this for “ The Dogs”). You will receive a link once approved to this group which is where everything is shared.

 9) Once you are on the MRF Volunteers Page ( On Facebook) and a dog is placed it is a FOSTER placement as MRF wants the Dog and Humans to succeed we are all about communication. 

 10) “Foster Fails” to MRF that is the ultimate goal , it’s a GOOD THING it means we were successful in matching the dog and human. And the human chooses to ADOPT!!

ADOPTION FEES

$450.00 for Ages 2 - 6 years old

$650.00 for Ages 12 weeks - 2 years old

Ages 7 years old & over (Oldie but Goodier) to be determined

All must be in Obedience Training and Become a Canine Good Citizen

Our insurance requires that 2 course be taken for Canine Fostering/Adopting (you are not required to take the Feline courses)
