Written by his foster Christine:

Sully the softie, his adventures started December 17 th one week before Christmas, it’s a busy
time of year and I’m sure Sully didn’t understand why he was coming with us. His previous
owner needed to move and was unable to take him and his sister, so Pam and Patty began the
search. We picked Sully up and boy did we have an adventure getting him into the car, food
was not working his stick nothing he was smarter than that! We finally got him in and off we
went, we were so busy talking to Sully and trying to calm him down we missed our turn home
and drove an extra 45 minutes. We arrived and he came into house, he was given a space that
separated him from our previous MFR rescue Nellie, when we got up the next morning, we
found them sleeping next to each other with the gate in between, lol we decided they could
meet, and they have been inseparable since. Sully likes to hold your hand in his mouth, he is
very excited to see anyone that comes to the house. He is large so he tends to be a little pushy
we are working at greet and sit. Christmas eve we had 20 family members here, so he was put
in our bedroom, the kids went in to visit him and he was in love with them, range from ages
9mths to 9 years. He just gave them all kisses, as most Mastiffs are he doesn’t know how big he
is or how big his feet are.

We know he is finally settling into our routine; he doesn’t like when I leave and howls while I’m
gone even if Bill is around. He is seldom more than 3 feet from me. He loves to do zoomies in
the yard and to lay in the sun. He is just a great big headed bundle of Silly Softie Sully just like
Sully in Monsters Inc.

Sully is 2 ½ years old, and will be neutered in Feb. He is new to MRF and we thank his fosters for
taking such great care and learning about him.

MRF is Foster based, many fall in love and foster fail keeping their mastiffs.. win/win for the dog
and the humans. They are the lifelines to saving them for MRF.

Training is a must with MRF and getting that very important Canine Good Citizen certificate..
We want the best for our dogs and their humans.
