Montague is a true gentle giant, found abandoned on a highway. He’s a fawn-colored 4-5 year old loving, docile boy. He was recently neutered, and shows no signs of a prey drive.
He’s currently in a loving foster home, where foster mom is socializing him with her bull mastiff. He loooooves car rides, and will sit on command. He’s such a good boy that he waits for the command to eat!
He’s definitely been hurt by humans in the past. He’s fearful when his ears get cleaned or medicine gets put on any boo-boos. He may try to nip.. Like with so many dogs gets itchy skin or hot spots. His foster does a wonderful job of giving him a great diet of home cooked goodies and added supplements.
He loves to play with the foster’s bull mastiff, He loves greeting people and he loves sleeping in her bed…(and playing on top of the bed). Montague is about 175lbs. He will need to go to an experienced home with an experienced adopter that will give him consistency and patience in training.
If you want a great companion.. you must work for it, Consistency and training is a must.. they are so worth it.
