Lincoln came into foster 5/2/20 from the only home he had ever known.
At 4-years old, he is a calm, quiet, timid young man with a moderate activity level. It does need to be noted: his inner puppy will surface when face to face with a stuffed squeaky!
Lincoln has been a brave boy in acclimating to his inside surroundings with a doting 13yo girl and 2 cats. We are told Lincoln does get along with other dogs but is currently the only dog in the home.
It's the outside world that presents a challenge for this sheltered boy right now!
Although he thoroughly enjoys meandering in the backyard and car rides, he is easily overwhelmed by the outside world and its many sounds!
Right now his Foster family is working on strengthening his confidence so he may learn to enjoy walks in the neighborhood.
Lincoln tends to be somewhat fussy at mealtime and needs to be on a special diet for skin allergies.
Overall, with a patient, experienced hand to help him overcome his fears, Lincoln will be a great family member!
