Abby came into MRF in March 2022. MRF foster Lynn picked her up from a loving home that regretted giving her up due to not having enough room, they felt being a puppy she needed more exercise and room to play.
Lynn took her home. She got a long with her dogs, played with her male and absolutely loved her grandchildren
Well, I must say being a puppy mom is certainly exciting. Especially this gentle giant. She is so full of energy. It’s unbelievable how much energy this one has. She runs and plays all the time.
She thinks she is the size of my cavalier. She climbs on top of me to sleep. .
Abby has training every Tuesday night so far she knows sit, down, and is learning Stay. So we shall see. She is eager to learn. Let’s hope her manners shape up soon. She is a very eager counter surfer.
She is a huge teddy bear. She is such a sweet girl. “ and she is a Houdini.
Like all young mastiffs training is so important..Lynn has been training and sending to Doggie Daycare and Abby LOVES IT. She also loves WATER..lol. LYNN thought she might stay with her..but sees how pitiful Abby is when the grandchildren are not there. She feels Abby needs a fulltime family.
AS for CATS, we have no idea, she is young and can be trained..I have done it many times over the years..it is patience, consistency and boundaries. That’s up to the adopter to be committed. If not --do not apply! MRF is firm on training, so you must continue and get her a Canine Good Citizen. If you want that great Canine Companion, it takes work!
If you are interested in Abigail and are going to commit the time to training her.. PLEASE fill out the application at https://www.mastiffrescuefl.org/application.html
